Software Developer

Our development team works in a round-table setting. We are also moving towards Agile/XP/TDD/MVP, so knowledge of these methods is preferred but not required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, or related field
  • Experience with an object oriented language. C# preferred – Experience with SQL scripting. MS SQL preferred.
  • Good communication and phone skills

Preferred candidate will have knowledge of:

  • Agile / Extreme Programming
  • Unit testing
  • WCF services
  • Entity Framework
  • MVP or MVC design patterns

Salary and benefits:

This is a full-time salary position
Xanatek pays 100% of the employee health insurance and matches up to 3% retirement contributions. Pay will depend upon experience.

Trainer

Xanatek is looking for an enthusiastic trainer who would be responsible for training users on the Connect program within the insurance industry.

This is a full time position in our South Bend, Indiana office. You must live in the area or be willing to relocate.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in the property/casualty insurance industry
  • Experience designing training materials
  • Experience in e-Learning, and training small to large groups
  • Experience with go-to-meeting and go-to-webinar or similar video recording software
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work and collaborate with multiple teams
  • Strong organizational, planning, project management, communication, presentation, facilitation, and influencing skills required
  • Ability to master (or become a product expert) on quickly evolving software
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Solid experience with small and large group presentation in both live and online settings
  • Being an out of the box thinker regarding training methods & practice
  • Strong computer skills and understanding of technical issues
  • Previous experience working for an independent agency or the property and casualty field is preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Training our clients on new installations
  • Assisting with conversions from one software version to a newer one
  • Delivering training related webinars and hosting Training Workshops
  • Maintaining and improving product training program for new and existing clients
  • Evaluating training outcomes to offer evidence of the effectiveness of training and organizational changes – Updating software training programs

Most training is done while connected to the client computer or through a webinar.

Sales Account Manager

Xanatek is looking for an energetic, self-motivated sales person to cultivate sales for Connect. The Sales Account Manager will be responsible for sales and market share growth within established and new territories.

Qualifications:

  • Three or more years of sales experience
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
  • Good working knowledge of technology, computers, and the Internet
  • A good understanding of the Property/Casualty Insurance market is a plus. – Strong computer skills and understanding of technical issues is a plus.

Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Attending trade shows
  • Cold calling
  • Telemarketing
  • Mass mailing/emailing
  • Developing full marketing campaign
  • Demonstrating software via web
  • Demonstrating software onsite at prospect location
  • Project management through completion of sale
  • Cultivating new leads

This role may also include some travel.

Salary and benefits:

Supplied with a salary and paid commission on each sale.

The position has good earning potential.

Tech Support

Xanatek is looking for an enthusiastic technical support representative who would be responsible for supporting users on the Connect program within the insurance industry.

This position is a full-time phone support position in our call center for our clients.

Qualifications:

  • Experience with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Windows & Windows Servers (2008 and newer) – Must have experience or understanding of Ethernet network topology and IP based networks including internet access/connection
  • Must have basic understanding of computer hardware/peripherals
  • Experience with the property/casualty insurance industry a bonus
  • Experience with Microsoft SQL a bonus
  • Experience with go-to-meeting and go-to-assist a bonus
  • Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written – Ability to work and collaborate with multiple teams
  • Ability to master (or become a product expert on) quickly evolving software – Ability to excel in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Being an out of the box thinker regarding training methods & practice

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Diagnose networking, software, and other related issues.
  • Troubleshoot and support the Connect product.
